Bishop’s students on National Merit list

Bishop’s seniors who earned semifinalist status in the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Competition are Laura Aguilar, Nicole Blansett, Kristen Casey, Stephen Chen, Jazmin Decosmo, Benjamin Doehr, Anne Evered, Kyle Gantz, Emily Hoge, Sara Huang, John Paul Koenigs, Julia Pian, James (Jake) Rascoff, Alexander Sammon, and Benjamin Sobel. In the 2009–2010 school year, more than 1.5 million juniors in over 21,000 high schools entered the 2011 National Merit Program by taking the 2009 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
