Bishop’s School has animal blessing

On Wednesday at 9:25 a.m., the Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi took place at The Bishop’s School. With an opening speech given by both the Rev. Mary Katherine Allman and the Rev. Randal Gardner the ceremony began. The school band led a parade of animals of all shapes, breeds and sizes around the schools quadrangle. Ending at Allman’s feet, the animals took their places with their owners one by one to be blessed.
