Bishop’s enjoys tasting party
Friends of The Bishop’s School enjoyed a Tastings Party at the lovely La Jolla home of Nathalie and Ken Riis. Supporters enjoyed fine wines, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts, along with specialty coffees during the festive evening. The party was a prelude to the school’s upcoming wine auction, scheduled for April 21st, where wine lovers bid on rare and valuable wines.
Local caterers and restaurants, such as Girard Gourmet, Guiseppe’s Fine Catering, Jack’s La Jolla Grille, and Marketplace Grille were among the generous donors dishing out food at the Tastings Party. One lucky guest took home an Instant Wine Cellar, consisting of 20 bottles of premium wine, valued at $2,000.
The large local guest list included Esther and Victor Trevino, Daniel and Katie Sullivan, Dick and Barbara Enberg, Ron and Deborah Greenspan, Greg and Tricia Pinkalla, Carol and Tony Broad (Tony is Chair of the Wine Auction Committee), Grace and David Cherashore, Suzanne and Ron Weiner, Danielle and Dan Negroni, Gale and Jim Hill, John Trifiletti, Chris and Lorna McKellar and Kim and Laurie Peterson.
