La Jolla Kiwanis Club members honored Spence Wilson, former manager of The Cove Theater, on his 96th birthday on Aug. 22. Wildlife photographer Thomas Mangelsen, Wilson’s friend, gave a slide presentation of photographic expeditions he’s been on which included Wilson.
