Bird Rock students visited by Arithmetickles

Kindergartners through third-graders at Bird Rock Elementary School were treated to a visit from the Arithmetickles’ road show on Jan. 6, led by Lindsey Carroll. The program takes math “off the page and onto the stage” by skillfully blending fast-paced theater games, audience participation, improvisation, mime, puzzles, skits and stand-up comedy to capture the attention of children, according to a news release from ArtsEcho. The national nonprofit arts organization was founded in 1987.
