Bird Rock Elementary hopping with activities

End-of-the-year activities kept Bird Rock Elementary students, parents and teachers hopping over the last couple of weeks.

On June 9, in a payoff for an auction item bought by a group of parents at the spring gala, Principal Carol Barry served pizza and organized a wall ball tournament. The next day, Sandy Sibley’s and Barbara McDonald’s first-graders got a visit from Heather Eastty, who brought four rabbits into the class for a lesson. Then, to cap it off on June 16, the all-school carnival drew a crowd for games of all sorts.
