Best Buy opens in La Jolla

Best Buy opened its newest store at 8657 Villa La Jolla Drive on Saturday.

Equipped with Magnolia Home Theater, Geek Squad, an installation bay, the store will soon carry the latest Apple products and is offering cutting-edge electronics, outstanding service for home users and small business, and custom solutions.

Grand opening ceremonies started with Veronica Huckaby, general manager of the La Jolla store, introducing Mayor Jerry Sanders, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. On top of that, Best Buy presented $5,000 checks to Junior Achievement of San Diego and the San Diego Center for Children. The first 50 customers received gift cards.
