Bar foundation raises legal work funds

The San Diego County Bar Foundation held its 12th annual Evening in La Jolla, Sept. 12, at the home of Craig and Susan McClellan. Some 300 leaders in the legal community, including many judges, attended the event.

The event raises grant money for local organizations that provide access to justice. Some of the recent grantees include Casa Cornelia, Elder Law and Advocacy, and Voices for Children.

The foundation is the charitable arm of the San Diego County Bar Association. Its mission is to provide access to justice by investing in sustainable results and advocacy for people and communities in the region that are impacted by poverty, abuse and discrimination.
