Bank robbed in La Jolla

The California Bank and Trust at 1127 Wall St., was robbed around 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12.

Police say the suspect confronted the teller at the California Bank and Trust, displayed a small, black handgun, and robbed the bank of cash.

The suspect is described as a white, male, 30-40 years old, wearing a red plaid flannel shirt and jeans. The San Diego Police Robbery unit is handling the investigation.
