Athenaeum to host wine series

The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library is holding two events surrounding art and wine.

The first event - “Connoisseurship: The Art of Bordeaux Wine” - is on March 25 and focuses on the flavors of the 2005 growing season of Bordeaux wines. The second event - “German Wines are Hot, Hot, Hot!” - will be held April 29 and will focus on German wines entering the American marketplace.

Both of the events will begin at 7:30 p.m., and reservations are required as space is limited. The admission is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. To make a reservation, call (858) 454-5872.
