Athenaeum to host outdoor film series

This year’s “Flicks on the Bricks” series of outdoor film screenings with wine tastings will feature four films. For each screening, local wine lecturer Barbara Baxter will introduce wines to accompany the film.

The schedule is as follows:

-July 30: “Bottle Shock”

-Aug. 6: “Eat Drink Man Woman”

-Aug. 13: “French Kiss”

-Aug. 20: “Casablanca”

Tickets for the series cost $52 for members and $72 for nonmembers. Individual tickets are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.

The screenings will take place at the Athenaeum, which is at 1008 Wall St. For reservations, call (858) 454-5872.
