Athenaeum hosts festive Members’ Holiday Party

On Dec. 14, the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library held its Members’ Holiday Party, which is offered each year on the second Sunday of December as a membership benefit.

This year, approximately 350 people attended the festive event, which featured hundreds of decorated cookies in artistic displays provided by François Goedhuys of Girard Gourmet. Artist-in-residence Sibyl Rubottom and Melissa Elliott designed the decorations. Local pianist and longtime member Sammy Tritt played holiday music on the piano. Additional music was performed by the Jaeryoung Lee Trio in the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Music Room.
