Arts commission seeks candidates
The city of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture is looking for people to serve on upcoming panels that will review applications for funding.
Panelists evaluate and rank applications for funding from San Diego arts and culture organizations, community arts projects, and festivals and celebrations. Last year, the commission awarded more than $6 million to more than 100 nonprofits.
Panelists are selected to represent a variety of professional interests including arts and culture, nonprofit management, community development and education.
Nominations may be submitted by anyone permanently residing in San Diego County. Self-nominations are accepted.
