Aroma Cafe’s Creme Brulee


• 1 quart heavy cream

• 10 oz. milk

• 8 oz. egg yolks

• 6 oz. granulated sugar

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method: Heat cream and milk together with half the sugar. Whisk egg yolks, vanilla and the rest of the sugar in mixing bowl. Once heated, slowly incorporate cream mixture to eggs (be careful not to add all at once, or you end up with scrambled eggs) until well blended. Pour brûlée mix in desired ceramic baking cups, and cook at 350 degrees F in water bath until set. Cool until room temperature, then sprinkle sugar on top, shake off excess and brûlée with chef’s torch. Garnish and enjoy!
