A-peeling party

On Jan. 30, Cosmederm Inc. of La Jolla hosted a private evening of pampering and beauty for 30 military wives at Life Gym in Carlsbad for an evening. The event was planned to thank the wives of local military for their sacrifice, especially those whose husbands are currently deployed. The women got Cosmederm facial peels, mini manicures and makeup consultations by students from the San Diego Beauty Academy, scalp massages by Travis Parker Salon, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
