2008 San Diego County Fair Dates

The 2008 San Diego County Fair will run 21 days, from Saturday, June 14, through Sunday, July 6. The Fair will be closed two Mondays (June 16 and 23).

Dollar Day

Dollar Day - where you can come to the Fair for just a dollar - will be Tuesday, June 17. You can buy these special Dollar Day tickets only at Ralph’s markets (not at the Fair ticket window).

Admission

Adults: $12

Ages 62 and older: $6

Ages 6-12: $6

Ages 5 and younger: Free

Cash and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover) are accepted for admission, ride and concert tickets. Some food and vendor booths also accept credit cards. Several ATM machines are placed throughout the fair.

If you would like to leave the fair and return the same day, get your hand stamped as you leave. If you leave a paid parking lot, you will need to pay again when you return.

10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday

10 a.m. to 10 p.m. other days

Grounds stay open until approximately midnight.

Exhibit and Shopping Buildings

10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday

10 a.m. to 10 p.m. other days

Buildings will stay open until midnight on July 4 (except for Kids’ Best, which will close about 10 p.m.).

The Fun Zone

10 a.m. to approximately midnight Saturdays and Sundays

11 a.m. to approximately midnight other days

Kiddieland

10 a.m. to approximately 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays

11 a.m. to approximately 11 p.m. other days
