11-11-11 baby born in room 1111 at L.A. area hospital

It was all things 11-11 Friday at hospital serving the North San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita areas as a baby boy was delivered at 11 minutes after 11 a.m. on 11/11/11, and officials said the delivery even took place in room 1111.

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center spokesperson Patricia Aidem said in a statement the 9-pound, 4-ounce baby boy was named Alexander David Hockaday Ruiz. He measured 21 inches at birth and he is the fifth child of Angela Hockaday.

Room 1111 is in the hospital’s new Women’s Pavilion.
