The latest Pacific storm will blow ashore late Tuesday afternoon and linger into late Thursday, producing spotty and sporadic showers, the National Weather Service says.
The heaviest rain is likely to fall in North County, especially in the foothills and mountains, forecasters say. The region could receive a half-inch or more of precipitation through Thursday.
South County will get about one-quarter inch of rain, and the precipitation will be far spottier.
Daytime highs all week in San Diego will be in the mid-60s.
