La Jollan Zachary Svajda wins men’s singles title in Tiburon pro tennis event

Zachary Svajda, 19, of La Jolla won the men’s singles title of the Tiburon Challenger USTA Pro Circuit tennis event on Oct. 9 in Marin County. Svajda, who turned pro in 2019, defeated Ben Shelton, 20, of Gainesville, Fla., in the final.
