Real Estate ‘witches’ host costume contest

Beware little goblins! During the annual “Pillage the Village” event 3-5 p.m. Friday Oct. 30, when children are invited to trick or treat local merchants, REBA will hold its annual costume contest. Four costumed “witches” from the La Jolla Real Estate Broker’s Association will be out in the crowd looking for their favorite costumes.

Each witch will nominate five children to return to the REBA office at 908 Kline St. at 4:30 p.m. to compete for “best costume.” Non-costumed spectators are strongly encouraged!

Prizes are gift cards to Geppetto’s: $100, $75 and $50 for first, second and third place winners, as well as $20 gift cards to all the nominees. Special thanks to Geppetto’s for generously donating the Grand Prize once again!

REBA will also provide reusable trick or treat bags available for pick up during business hours and during the event at the REBA office on Kline or at C&H Photo, 7442 Girard.
