This year’s Go Red for Women, an event that raises awareness for Women’s heart health, shines the spotlight on the UC San Diego Health Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center, 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 9434 Medical Center Drive. The ceremony and reception focus on raising awareness for the prevention of heart disease and stroke, and improving the health of women in the San Diego community. A collection bin will be available to drop off knitted or crocheted red baby hats for babies born in hospitals at UC San Diego Health and across the country in February.
