Las Patronas Jewel Ball: Mexico’s flavors and culture inspire 2018 gala

The Las Patronas Jewel Ball took place Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, marking the 72nd time the annual fundraiser was held since 1946. With the 2018 theme “Viva La Vida,” guests were treated to elaborate sets, exquisite culinary treats and inspiring entertainment that celebrated the vitality of life south of the border — all through a year-long effort to raise grant money for charitable causes.
