Short film 'Residue' nets Emmys for local producers

La Jolla residents Wally Schlotter and Jared Davis took home the Emmy Award in the category of Best Entertainment Program for their short film "Residue" at the June 26 Emmy presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Pacific Southwest Chapter at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

Schlotter executive produced the film, while Davis served as director, writer, producer and actor.
