Girls water polo
The Bishop's School advanced to the CIF-San Diego Section Division II championship game, but came up short in its quest for another title.

The Knights fell, 8-6, in the Feb. 23 title game.

Bishop's was the No. 2 seed in the bracket, and eased past its two opponents. The Knights advanced to the championship game with a 14-9 win over University City in a Feb. 20 semifinal.

La Jolla High School was seeded fourth in the Division II playoffs, and after wins in its first two games, fell to Coronado, 13-3, in the semifinals on Feb. 20.

Boys basketball
La Jolla High School rolled to a 68-50 victory over Castle Park in the first round of the CIF-SDS Division III playoffs on Feb. 19.

La Jolla eased past Mt. Miguel, 66-39, in a quarterfinals matchup on Feb. 22.

The Vikings were scheduled to meet San Marcos in a Feb. 26 semifinal for the right to play in the section championship game Feb. 29 at San Diego State's Cox Arena.

The Bishop's School earned a first-round bye in the CIF-SDS Division IV playoffs, and then edged Christian, 57-53, in the quarterfinals on Feb. 22.

The Knights were scheduled to play Army-Navy Academy in a Feb. 26 semifinal, with the winner going on to the section final March 1 at SDSU.

La Jolla Country Day toppled Mater Dei, 55-41, in the first round of the CIF-SDS Division IV playoffs on March 20.

The Torreys fell to Army-Navy Academy, 55-28, in a Feb. 22 quarterfinal.

Girls basketball
La Jolla Country Day, the top-seeded team in the CIF-SDS Division V playoffs, eased its way into the semifinals. The Torreys started with a first-round bye, then surged past Santa Fe Christian, 71-30, in a Feb. 23 quarterfinal.

They were scheduled to play Francis Parker in the semifinals on Feb. 27, with the winner going to the March 1 championship game at SDSU.

The Bishop's School also eased into the semis. The Knights were seeded No. 2 and earned a first-round bye, then walloped Imperial, 78-20, in the quarterfinals on Feb. 23.

The Knights were scheduled to face Mater Dei in the semifinals on Feb. 27, looking to advance to the March 1 section title game.

La Jolla High School dropped a 57-42 decision to El Capitan in the first round of the CIF-SDS Division III playoffs on Feb. 20.

Boys soccer
The Bishop's School and La Jolla Country Day cruised through the CIF-SDS Division IV playoff bracket, and were scheduled to face each other in a Feb. 27 semifinal game.

The Knights beat Preuss, 7-0, on Feb. 20. They then rolled to a 2-0 win over West Shores in the quarterfinals on Feb. 23.

The Torreys toppled Horizon, 4-0, on Feb. 20. Country Day advanced to the semis with a 5-1 win over Tri-City Christian on Feb. 23.

La Jolla High School fell to Crawford, 1-0, in a CIF-SDS Division III first-round playoff game on Feb. 20. The Vikings finished with a record of 11-6-3.

Girls soccer
La Jolla High School earned a bye in the first round of the CIF-SDS Division III playoffs, and in the quarterfinals on Feb. 22, eased past Mission Bay, 3-0.

The Vikings were scheduled to play University City in the semifinals on Feb. 26. The Bishop's School earned the top seed in the CIF-SDS Division IV bracket, and coasted into the semifinals.

The Knights beat High Tech, 6-1, in a Feb. 19 first-round game. They sailed past Holtville, 6-2, on Feb. 22.

Bishop's was scheduled to face Santa Fe Christian in the semifinals on Feb. 26.

La Jolla Country Day beat Tri-City Christian, 3-0, in the first round of the CIF-SDS Division IV playoffs on Feb. 19. The Torreys dropped a 2-1 quarterfinal to Santa Fe Christian on Feb. 22.

Wrestling
La Jolla High School had two wrestlers compete in the CIF-SDS Masters tournament on Feb. 22. David Blazquez went 1-2 at 215 pounds, and Tyler Rohr lost both his matches in the 140-pound weight class.
Roller hockey

La Jolla Country Day fell, 7-2, to Otay Ranch in the first round of the CIF-SDS playoffs on Feb. 19.

Ben Sweeney scored both goals for the Torreys, and Cami Corbin assisted on one. Country Day finished the season with a 10-10-1 record.
