Showers will hit San Diego County this afternoon

A line of moisture from off the coast of Baja California is moving ashore in southern San Diego County and will produce sporadic showers into the evening rush hour, according to the National Weather Service.

“We could see rain anywhere from Chula Vista over to Escondido,” said Brett Albright, a weather service forecaster. “It won’t be much; we think we’ll get about 0.10’’ of rain.”

San Diego County has been experiencing cooler-than-average temperatures, and plenty of clouds. The trend will continue until late this week.
