Midnight Rising leads a song at last year's Vacation Bible School at La Jolla Community Church. The church will hold its Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 13 through 17 for children ages 5 through fifth grade. Extended care is available from 1 to 5 p.m. for an additional fee. The session will end with a family gathering on Friday night that will include performances by the children. Cost for the week is $50 for the first child in a family and $40 for each sibling. For more information and to download a registration form, go to www.ljcommunitychurch.org or e-mail vbs@ljcommunitychurch.org. The church is at 4377 Eastgate Mall, just east of Genesee.
