According to police reports, at 9:07 a.m. Tuesday a major injury accident was reported at 3000 Via Alicante in La Jolla.
A 30- year-old male motorcyclist was traveling southbound near 8100 Gilman Drive. He had the green light at Via Alicante. A 35-year-old male traveling westbound on Via Alicante made a left turn onto Gilman Drive running head on into the motorcyclist.
Both males were transported to the hospital. Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
