All Aboard for Sea Kayak Adventures with Birch Aquarium

Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, is hitting the open water for sea kayak adventures this fall with Ocean Enterprises Express (OEX). Participants ages 10 and up will learn the basics of ocean kayaking while exploring the La Jolla State Marine Conservation Area.
Scripps naturalists and OEX instructors will guide kayakers from the beach at La Jolla Shores to the caves at La Jolla Cove. Participants will learn about current Scripps research within the reserve while viewing birds, seals and fish.
Beginners are welcome. Advanced reservations are required and space is limited.
