Coastal Commission to consider full winter closure of Children’s Pool at Aug. 14 hearing in San Diego

The California Coastal Commission will consider a Coastal Development Permit and an amendment to La Jolla's Local Coastal Program for the City of San Diego's request to prohibit beach access at Children's Pool (Casa) Beach during the harbor seals' pupping season, Dec. 15 to May 15 each year.

The hearing will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at the  Catamaran Resort, 3999 Mission Blvd. in Pacific Beach.

Public testimony may be limited to three minutes or less for each speaker depending on the number of persons wishing to be heard.
