Police rescued another wayward sea lion pup, this one having wandered onto the Mission Bay freeway on-ramp this morning (Wednesday, June 5) at about 6 a.m.

California Highway Patrol and San Diego Police officers arrived a short time later to rescue the sea lion, who was entering the south-bound on-ramp for Interstate 5.

Around 6:50 a.m., animal control officers got the pup into a vehicle, and it was taken to SeaWorld for evaluation.
