“The new site lajollavoices.com, is custom tailored for Jolla residents, community groups, social clubs, religious organizations, non-profits and businesses to network and exchange ideas, share information, and find great local businesses and deals,” Pfeiffer said.
Individuals, groups and businesses can communicate with friends, neighbors, colleagues and customers or clients on La Jolla Voices through Buzz Boards, Event Listings and Comments. The Buzz Board is a local bulletin board to post announcements in real-time on the front page of La Jolla Voices. “It’s the public address system for La Jolla,” Pfeiffer said.
There is also a private or personal real-time textual interactive board for making
personal connections. It can be used to build connection lists of neighbors, classrooms, sports teams and more.
For organizations and businesses, it’s an affordable way to create a personalized connection with local residents and build organizational or brand loyalty.
Any member can create a group and invite others to join. Groups are a great place to keep members informed about what’s happening. Individuals, organizations and businesses can also post events to let friends and neighbors know what’s happening.
