Verenium, which evolves bacterial and fungal DNA to create enzymes that transform and dramatically improve industrial processes, has signed a 126-month lease valued at $24 million for 59,199 square feet of office and laboratory space at 3550 John Hopkins Court in the Nautilus project in Torrey Pines.
Nautilus is two-building, two-story, Class A laboratory and office project currently under construction. IT is located off of Genesee Avenue at the corner of John Jay Hopkins Drive and John Hopkins Court. Construction began in March 2011 and is scheduled for completion in June 2012.
