The FBI and San Diego police today sought the public's help in identifying a man who simulated having a firearm in his jacket while robbing a bank in Sorrento Valley.
The man entered the Bank of America branch office at 9460 Scranton Road and gave a teller a demand note around 5 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The teller complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Stafford said.
Authorities described the man as black, in his 20s and about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, sunglasses and black jacket, according to the FBI.
