MTRP Visitors and Interpretive Center to host photo exhibit

The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation will present, “Near and Far” a photography exhibit featuring the work of Dolwain Green.  The exhibition and will be on display in the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor’s Center Gallery  Aug. 13 to Sept. 9. Green, born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, discovered his interest in photography while documenting a study of migrant farm workers in the eastern United States.

His photo interests expanded to other history, cultures and sports activities, critters he encountered along the way, and his main loves, rural and urban landscapes. This exhibit is a collection of images from trips throughout California, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Montana and the northeast United States.A reception in honor of the artist will be held at the MTRP Visitor and Interpretive Center 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14.  The public is invited to the event where Dolwain will be available to discuss his work.  The MTRP Visitors and Interpretive Center is located at One Father Junipero Serra Trail, San Diego, CA 92119 and is open daily from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m. The MTRP Foundation was formed in 1988 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit public benefit corporation.
