San Diego Brain Injury Foundation's 23rd Annual Golf Classic
At the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo, 144 players will tee off to help those who have suffered brain injuries. The participants will enjoy lunch, a day of golf and then dinner and live and silent auctions.
This charity event is the primary source of the Foundation's funding and enables them to continue to provide needed support and services to survivors and their families.

TERI's 19th Annual Dirce Schwarz Memorial Golf Tournament
The tournament will be held at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, 17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr., San Diego, CA 92128. Check-in will be between 10:30 a.m. and noon, with a boxed lunch being served around 11:30 a.m. The welcoming announcements will begin at 12:15 p.m. and tee-off will closely follow at 12:30 p.m. All tournament proceeds will help build TERI's Center for Research and Life Planning. This campus, the first of its kind in the nation, will support families with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Around 5:30 p.m. cocktails and hor de oeuvres will be served and finally the tournament will close with dinner, a raffle and award presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m. $275 for individuals and $1,000 for a group of four.

USO San Diego Annual Stars and Stripes Ball, La Jolla Aventine Ballroom
USO San Diego's Annual Black-Tie Gala, The Stars & Stripes Ball, is a night of dinner, dancing and silent and live auctions in celebration of the 67 years of service to San Diego's local Armed Forces personnel.
The ball is USO San Diego's largest fund-raiser with a goal of raising $500,000, which will continue efforts to provide programs and services. USO San Diego programs and events receive no government or state funding. The group relies solely on the generosity and donations of the local community.
The Hyatt Regency La Jolla Aventine Ballroom is located at 3777 La Jolla Village Dr.

The 4th Annual ARTSea CAFE, "POP!" will be held on Saturday, May 17 at the Pawka Green, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla. The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. The night will include dinner, a video created by the ARTS Kids and much more. People attending the event will also be able to participate in artistic activities or watch artists, Aaron Garcia, Trisha Martin and Jill Stephens demonstrate. ARTS is dedicated to healing, inspiring and empowering children facing life challenges by providing innovative arts-based programs, education and opportunities.
