The Country Friends outline details for fashion show

The Country Friends recently announced that they will once again partner with South Coast Plaza for their 54th annual Art of Fashion runway show on Sept. 24 on the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe lawn. Proceeds from this year's show will benefit Voices for Children, which provides court advocates for children in foster care.
"We are all committed to making life better and brighter for foster kids in our community, providing a voice for those who have none," event chair Lisa Alvarez said in a news release.
The event will begin with lunch on the lawn, followed by the fashion show emceed by KUSI's Sandra Maas. The runway show will feature the fall/winter collections of Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Max Mara, Marni, Emilio Pucci, Oscar de la Renta, Saks Fifth Avenue, St. John Couture and Ermenegildo Zegna.
This is the fifth year that South Coast has partnered with the Country Friends.
"In years past, women's fashions ruled the runway, but this year, there's a twist," said Debra Gunn Downing from South Coast Plaza. "This is the first year menswear will be added to the show, and I'm confident everyone will enjoy it."
Following the show, there will be the Apres Affaire wine tasting and boutiques showcasing the show designers, as well as jewelry by David Yurman and scents from Jo Malone.
