A $12,000 donation from Las Patronas has enabled San Diego Futures Foundation to collect large loads of e-waste to recycle in a socially responsible and Earth-friendly manner.
With the donation, SDFF bought a used Mitsubishi FH diesel truck, capable of hauling large amounts of outdated computers and other unwanted electronic equipment.
SDFF collects e-waste from businesses, agencies and industrial parks, almost any place where the donation is at least 26 computers or the equivalent amount of commonly accepted electronic equipment.
