On Saturday May, 16 Chic Fashion Tours hosted a four-hour walking event in La Jolla.

Throughout the event shoppers were able to see every aspect of fashion in the area including clothes, shoes, jewelry, gift items, swimwear. Each participant was given a shopping bag filled with discount coupons.

Tour guides Diana Cavagnaro and George Bates provided the shoppers with personalized stories of each store visited. Cavagnaro and Bates have been in the fashion business for over 25 years and shared the scoop about upcoming fashion events and runway shows in the San Diego area.

A wide selection of fashion tours have been designed for the shoppers highlighting more locally owned businesses.

Additional fashion tours are planned including a tour of downtown San Diego, a Fashion Forward tour with cutting edge stores showcasing contemporary and street wear fashions and a Green Tour for the eco-minded consumer who wants to shop for innovative fabrics such as bamboo, hemp, and organic cotton.
