Taste at the Cove to benefit San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation
Aug 18, 2008 - La Jolla Light
With five-star cuisine and VIP seating, even the most finicky of palettes would approve of La Jolla's Taste at the Cove. The event, which is being held on Aug. 27 at the Scripps Park at La Jolla Cove, will feature some of San Diego's finest cuisine, a New York style runway fashion show as well as both silent and live auctions.
Among the honorees are San Diego Padres' Jake Peavy and Dr. Larry Roberts. This year, the event will benefit the San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists low-income families in times of medical need for sports related injuries. Reservation can be made online. VIP tables cost between $2,500 and $4,000. More Information: www.tasteatthecove.com.
