La Jolla youth lacrosse league to hold tryouts Feb. 2

Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States. In 2012, the La Jolla Lacrosse Club saw its numbers grow from 80 to more than 140 elementary and middle school players (grades 1-8). Registration for Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 tryouts is required by Jan. 31.

La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club will host the 40th annual United States Tennis Association’s National Over 40 Hard Court Tennis Championships, Nov. 26-Dec. 2 for men and women, plus father/son and grandfather/grandson doubles.

La Jolla dentist John Taddey uses latest techniques for long-term results

Dr. John Taddey, DDS, opened his La Jolla dental office in 1974 and continues to practice family cosmetic dentistry there, alongside his daughter/partner, Tracy Taddey, DDS, and his daughter, Kristin, who is one of his three hygienists. With some 30 years in business, Taddey has fond memories of the generations of patients he’s served. He said he finds it exciting to work with his daughters, using new dental technologies.
