
More than 28 years ago, Alessandro DeRobertis opened his eponymous hair salon at 7825 Fay Ave. in La Jolla with one goal in mind: to help his clients feel good about their appearance. Now, decades later, he still holds true to that goal.

La Jolla Open Aire Market, a certified farmers market, will mark its 14th anniversary with a Harvest Festival, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at La Jolla Elementary School, upper playground, Girard Avenue and Genter Street.
