La Jolla Brew House hosts happy hour for canines and their owners
Jul 16, 2008
- La Jolla Light

La Jolla Brew House is holding a happy hour, more appropriately named "yappy hour," from 5 to 8 p.m. on July 22. The theme: "Animals Have No Nationality."

The event, which will feature treats (for man and his best friend), raffles and prizes, will benefit Friends of Humane Society de Tijuana. Happy hour alcohol and food prices will be available to the human attendees. The happy hour menu includes $3 house drafts, $3 house wines, $10 house pitchers and a handful of appetizers including $4 potato skins, onion rings, buffalo wings and more.

Folks from Muttropolis and volunteers from Friends of Humane Society de Tijuana will attend.
The Humane Society de Tijuana is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the community through the humane treatment of animals. The programs focus on low cost or free spay and neuter clinics; street clinics that treat animals for parasites, ticks and fleas; rescues; and public education programs.
