Prudential names director Kate Adams of Prudential California Realty has been named a director of the firm's Luxury Division.
Adams has more than 28 years of experience as a Realtor and has been a La Jolla resident for more than 34 years.
SCORE plans new workshops SCORE San Diego, which offers a variety of courses to help small businesses grow and prosper, is offering a new round of workshops.
With fees from $29 to $109, the program offers such courses as developing a business plan to basic business accounting and Internet marketing.
Roppongi hits anniversary Roppongi Restaurant & Sushi Bar is celebrating its 10th anniversary from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday with half-off tapas and sushi rolls and music by local La Jolla duo, J2 - Jay Berman and Janet Hammer.

Spa hosts open house Tina Marie & Company spa boutique will host its first "Tuesdays at Tina" open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The event will showcase specialized skin, hair and nail care and other La Jolla businesses and services. It's the first of a regularly planned gathering that will also include food and drinks.
The spa is in a 1926 cottage at 7746 Herschel Ave.
