A group of local businesses that have banded together to form the La Jolla Health Team will introduce themselves to the community with a Health Carnival from noon to 4 p.m. on Sept. 4 at Fitness Together.
Led by Fitness Together's owner Alan Ezier and general manager John Lenz, the participating businesses are Pharmica, Extreme Pizza and Massage Envy.
The Sept. 4 event will feature product displays, chair massages and drawings for prizes from the four members of the Health Team as well as others, said Christine Lenz. It also doubles as a grand re-opening celebration at Fitness Together, which recently remodeled its personal training facility at 7777 Fay Ave.
