The 105th anniversary of the Charity Ball took place Feb. 8, 2014 at Hotel Del Coronado to benefit Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. The “From the Heart” gala featured dinner and dancing to raise funds for the hospital’s cardiovascular intensive care unit. To staff and equip the CVICU for its first year, Rady Children’s must make an investment of $2.5 million; additional funds are needed to sustain annual costs.
