New school mural at La Jolla’s Muirlands Middle School has international flair

The newest mural to add color to the campus of Muirlands Middle School, 1056 Nautilus St., was completed recently. Artists Shanon Cunningham and Stefanie Stritzker worked together with Muirlands art students on the project. The international-theme concept was created by former Muirlands student Maria Alvarez. — Pearl Preis
