The Bishop’s School hosted a Christmas Tree Lighting Party on its quad for the La Jolla community on the evening of Dec. 5, 2013. Families gathered to hear carols by The Bishop’s Singers, Christmas messages from Chaplain Brian Fidler and Head of School Aimeeclaire Roche, and enjoy holiday treats. There was also a collection of gift cards donated to teens from the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a moment of silence to mark the passing of South African President Nelson Mandela, and a surprise visit from Santa Claus.
