La Jolla’s La Valencia Hotel to hold annual tree lighting celebration

The annual tree lighting celebration at La Valencia Hotel, 1132 Prospect St., will take place at 5 p.m. Dec. 3. The La Jolla Country Day School Madrigal Choir will perform, the Monarch Gallery will provide the festive “Art of Doug Bloodworth,” holiday arts and crafts for children will be available, along with mulled wine and hot chocolate, and the “Sea of Lights” (over one million light bulbs), will be on display.
