La Jolla Community Center will unveil donor wall Nov. 1

La Jolla Community Center will host a patron appreciation reception, 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1 at the center, 6811 La Jolla Blvd.

A donor wall comprised of artistic, ceramic tiles by artist Laird Plumleigh will be unveiled at 5 p.m. sharp, along with a plaque on the front of the building honoring La Jolla philanthropist and benefactor Florence Riford.

Food, drinks and entertainment begin at 5:30 p.m. There will be complimentary valet parking.
