Fourteen members of The Children’s School in La Jolla volunteered at Operation Homefront’s Back-to-School Brigade on Aug. 3, 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center. The event provided an opportunity for children of active duty military personnel and veterans to select new school supplies.

During their spring semester, nine Children’s School students organized a school supply drive for Operation Homefront, inspired by a partnership with “Least Among Saints,” an independent film about veterans’ issues. The Children’s School also co-hosted a screening of the film, with proceeds donated to Operation Homefront.
